Legal Services

The Legal Services Program at the Geauga County Department on Aging provides Geauga County seniors access to legal services. Geauga Seniors can receive up to three hours of legal services through the Department on Aging.  Should legal needs require more time to resolve or if there is a matter requiring urgency, a client may wish to hire their own attorney, privately retain the attorney they met with, or be referred to the Geauga County Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service. All legal services rendered are confidential. The Legal Services Program is provided through funding from the Geauga Senior Services Levy, the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging and a reduction in fee by the attorneys providing the service.  For more information on this program, associated fees, and scheduling, please call the Geauga County Department on Aging at (440) 279-2130.
