The Auto Title Office provides titling services for automobiles, trailers over 4,000 lbs., motor homes, manufactured homes, watercraft, and APVs. Each year we issue over 30,000 titles.

 

 

As of September 16, 1997, House Bill 39 was passed by the Ohio Legislature, allowing Clerk of Courts to accept credit cards as a form of payment. We accept Visa and MasterCard, cash, certified checks, and money orders. As of October 1, 2002, personal checks are now accepted payable to: Clerk of Courts. A $30.00 fee will be charged for all returned checks. A 3% fee will be assessed to all Credit Card customers pursuant to O.R.C. 301.28(A). Business and Dealer Checks will still require a letter of guarantee on file from their respective bank, which must be renewed every two years.
